Lumina Math

Lumina Math is a complex Mathematics contest organized for all students in the 4th to the 8th grades. frONema concept has been collaborating with Lumina Math Team since 2000, when the organizers realized the importance of a computerized management system of the contest.

From 250 participants in 2000, the contest developed and soon it was organized in more than one testing centers. In 2008 there are expected more than 20000 participants from all over the country. Our system manages to function properly despite this number, generating the following reports:

• detailed participants' list
• list with the origin schools of the students who registered to the contest
• questions' and answers' examination
• reports organized according to participants schools, testing centers and districts.
  

In few words, the system's information flow implies the followings:

• students' uploading into database
• students' placement into classes
• papers' verification through an optical reader
• generating reports that facilitate the management of the contest and inform the parents and the schools about students' results.
